More than a shock.
Followed Mike for many many years, and not less than 7 just with The Bastet.
The 3 past days were a harsch time for me, in my life and health, adding this news is somewhat...
I have no word for what I'm feeling.
Tu laisseras dans ma vie un trou béant en lieu et place de l'espoir.

My condolences to Michael's family, his friends, and Aspen. Ever since I read an article where Michael talked about his father dying of cancer, I was happy when he said he had a clean bill of health. It really shocked me when a friend told me today that he passed.
Although I never met Michael, I know that if he had such good friends there to support him, he must have been a good person as well. I think about every kindhearted thing you guys did, and I know this has to be true.
This summer is a time of reflection for me, as this same time last year brought two deaths. I was going to remember these people and pray for them, and I'll be keeping Michael in my thoughts as well.

After reading the sad news I just couldn't belive it at first but then as I read on, it indeed was true, my heart sank so low in my chest, I was so hopeing he would keep fighting, keep battleing this thing he had inside him. I remember the first time I saw his work at Top cow, I thought wow, I hope one day I could ink one of his pieces over his pencil work, but as we all know that can not be now. we all loved this man because his style his details and woman was so graceful, even as he was sick he keep on going drawing his passion he loved so well. you couldn't keep him from pleaseing his fans which gave him the drive to move on and make this company, so the question bears in all our minds where does this company go from hear? will it fall like the rest? or keep on going. I want this company to keep going and keep Mr. Michael Turners dream alive, I do not wish to see all his character sold to other company's like Chaos! Comics did.
Rest in peace Mr. Turner.

Thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends. He will be missed.
My favorite artist and the only reason I went to WWTX every time the Aspen crew was there. Great guy to meet and friendly to everyone no matter what.
My pics from my best WWTX. Getting the chance to paly foosball against Michael and Frank. I still don't know how my hands stayed on the handles because they were shaking so much...
And the sketch that still hangs on my wall...
Thanks for everything Michael...

Michael Turner was my absolute favorite artist in high school. I was a pretty mopey down trodden teenager, but his art really inspired me, and always put a smile on my face. It was one ofthe few things I'd really look forward to.
I only wish I had gotten the opportunity to meet him, by all accounts he seemed like a genuinely friendly person, who cared deeply about his fans.
Well, he'll certainly be missed to say the least. My condolences to his family and friends. 37 is far too young.
