I just want to say thank you to everyone that posted the links so that I and everyone would be able to read it...

Does anyone know if there will be a tribute or anything at ComicCon?

You would probably have to call/write/email each paper to see if they have copies still (if they have not been destroyed) that you could purchase.

My mother noticed and pointed out to me that today's Globe and Mail, our national newspaper, had a notice in their Obituary column for Michael. Not all of the information was totally accurate (listing him as only a cover artist for Superman/Batman), but the mention was nice.

Globe and Mail wrote:
Santa Monica, Calif. -- Michael Turner, a comic-book artist who drew covers for major titles such as Superman/Batman, died June 27 of bone cancer at a Santa Monica hospital. He was 37.

Through his company, Mr. Turner created online comic adaptations for the NBC series Heroes and published his own titles, including the best-selling Fathom, a deep-sea story about a female superhero.

He also drew covers for such large projects as Justice League and Marvel's Civil War and was a regular cover artist for Superman/Batman and The Flash.

Link.

Wow even a Toronto based newspaper had it. Who would have thought.

Thanks Vince for posting the link. It was well written

it just sucks to me that it's taken this long for the newspapers and the Associated Press to take notice for this....just goes to show you how the comics world, except for its movies, is just not involved in mainstream media. A shame, but at least the articles were well written.
