Ok. Now I am not a HUGE anime fan. But, Sana Takeda's work is one of the few exceptions. That Aspen Showcase: Grace she illustrated was VERY well done. I like that she uses darker tones than most anime artists. And that Grace spread she drew for the Aspen Spash 2008 Swimsuit Edition was great!.....in fact, anyone got a good scan of that?

She did a wonderful job on Grace. A print of that would be nice. She doesn't look pointy and cheaply draw like pokemon garbage.

I saw some of her other work in the aspen solicitations and it's amazing. Grace looks awesome in her style. Love it.

y'know what, I don't even view this as Anime style. There's really nothing about it that lends itself to that genre or even Manga in general. (ok, except maybe the big eyes, but female characters are supposed to have big eyes!) I call this beautiful artwork from a Japanese woman, plain and simple.
