I just got to the end of Aspen #6 and am somewhat confused by the ending.
She gets zapped by some electric device and rendered unconscious.
It has been established that the Blue are vulnerable to electric shock, both Elites and normals.
What confuses me is that the Black have a degree of resistance, if not outright immunity to the forces they control.
And one of those forces is Electricity!
Granted Aspen hasn't shown that she has learned this ability, but as a member of the Black, she would no doubt have their innate natural resistance to electrical shock.
So I would have expected that all a shock would do is just make her annoyed, then angry.
I'm assuming this was just a dramatic way to end the issue.
And nutjob guy is probably going to learn the lesson that all others have before him, tick Aspen off and well, fighting the ocean is never something anyone has done and succeeded!
As as being the living personification of the ocean's power and strength, Aspen is not someone I'd trifle with........
