runner shoes - cus u will be walking a lot - or standing a lot - so comfy shoes is a must

backpack or type of storage for things you might bring ie comics for signing - or for thing u will buy

a sketchbook to keep your sketches in order instead of loose all over the plac

n e one else?

Anyone reccommend leaving their bank card/credit card at home and bringing a set amount of cash with them?

Tube for posters.

Loads of cash (the lines to the ATMs are insane).

Your own food (a hot-dog is a week's salary).

A plan/schedule so you don't end up in the middle of the con thinking "where the heck am I going to now?"

Things to bring:

-Money (and lots of it!)
If it's your first, be prepared. There are more things here that you'll want then you can imagine.
-Make a list of all the comics and stuff you want. Be prepared so that way you sure to get what it is that you need for your collection.
-Sketchbook (for all those famous people to give you autographs and sketches)
-Sharpies (So you can ask anyone, anytime if you feel like being annoying) but if John Cassaday says "Whoa! I don't have one. Let's go look for one," pretend like you never had one.)
-Snack (food there is expensive)
-Poster Tube
-Comfortable Shoes (a lot of walking)
-Backpack (For all your goodies)
-A Camera (Sometimes people are in attendance that you may not have been expecting so don't miss the chance to take pictures with them)
-A Watch (to keep track of time and make sure you get to panels and signings on time)
-Deoderant (seriously!)

A set amount of cash is good. I've seen far too many go to the ATMs constantly, and then later you hit yourself for how much you spent. Plus, as Simon said, ATM lines are long.

A camera is a must. Just remember to take pictures. *laughs*

Comfy shoes Gem? *laughs* I have never worn comfy shoes, (well compared to what others think) but that's me.

Bring in a few small snacks and a drink in your bag. Food there is not cheap, and that way you can hold yourself over until dinner afterwards.

Oh, and if you are wearing something that makes a backpack impossible - remember to bring along a friend like our friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

but sometimes goin off on solo adventures in around the con is fun too - you can cut and move around better without having to worry bout leaving ur friend behind - specially for goin on hunting down stuff - hence celly to keep in contact

also have a set meeting place should your friends break up and do their own thang - like see specific artists and or goin to go buy stuff around the place
